Hornbills at the door

Sometimes, hornbills can be observed when they knock on doors or windows. I was wondering what they're doing, different species of them came to door and apparently they wanted to come in.

and uses it as soon as possible.
Now,  that's the reason for their behavior; the houses are full with geckos.
