Swarm Photos, Curlews on the Altmühlsee.

Curlews are rare in central Europe and they are rarely seen in larger groups. I saw this flock of curlews, together with numerous ducks and plovers on the Altmühlsee in Bavaria.

  7. How interesting that Curlews are rare in Central Europe. It's hard to imagine that when we see them in their thousands here in North West England. Well spotted the Greenshank.
