Old Honey Mushrooms

The honey mushroom is one of the largest organisms in the world with an covered area of 8 km². These ones were not so big, but they were grown on many trees and when they belong to the same specimen it would be an impressive organism too.

  4. I'm wondering what that foamy, milky substance is? The second shot reminds me of little condos, one atop another.
