Common Moorhen

I saw these moorhen last week; one is juvenile bird from this year. Moorhens became rare in southern Germany, but these live close to a big city and in a crowded park.

  2. Cute moorhen, it looks a lot like the coots I'm familiar with, but with red on the beak instead of white. They are fun birds to watch.
