Bird on the Silbersee in Nuremberg

I have seen this birds last week on a lake in Nuremberg. The surprises were a Canada Goose with a white face, a Mallard hybrid and a Common Moorhen which is a rare bird in my area.

  5. Isn't it funny when birds are so common for some of us yet rare treats for others.

  6. Being a little Wren, I'm of course drawn to the Little Grebe, who looks like he is off on a mission somewhere good!
