Eating Muskrats

I have seen this couple of muskrats last week in a small lake. Their main interest was eat, swim and eat more; with a curious style of swimming. One lay without moving in the water and stuck her tail in the height.

  1. Cute little critters ... are they likely to have a family there? It would be fun to see little muscrats swimming and eating with Mom and Dad.

  7. We have some muskrats near our house here in France...love to watch them. Did you know that they were imported to Europe because of their fur?
    Great captures!

  9. We had muskrats here on the pond before a mink came in and carried them off to eat. That might have been breeding behavior. They swim in circles, make noise and mate on the water. ... Michelle
