Birding in the rain

The Ammersee (Lake Ammer) and Starnberger See (Lake Starnberg) in Southern Bavaria are famous for wintering birds from Scandinavia (loons, ducks and Whooper Swans) and great birding sites but the weather….

It was raining, more raining and raining again.

  5. Our aunt lived in Widdersbeg on the Pilsensee and I really miss the area. Lovely to see your images of the birds there. You could always send the rain over here is you have had enough of it, we could use any amount of it to make us fire safe.

  6. Love the pretty Goldeneye! Even with the rain, they are lovely shots of the birds.
