Bush Hyrax (Heterohyrax brucei)

They are curious and clever climbers. These bush hyraxes live in a small colony on a church area in Ethiopia. The place is overgrown with a dense tree vegetation and provides an ideal habitat. They are diurnal as the rock hyrax and love to climp trees.

Yellow-spotted rock hyrax or bush hyrax (Heterohyrax brucei).

Linked with camera critters.

  1. They are lovely looking animals. Shame (or not) they are so shy.

  2. What a darling creature! Great captures!

  3. My first time to see this critter. Awesome shots!
