Red-billed Firefinch

Red-billed Firefinch or Senegal Firefinch (Lagonosticta senegala) is a very common bird in Africa and a funny one to. I love the small red dots bouncing around in the bushes. They are very small birds and appear in flocks often with some other finches.

  3. Hi Christian, beautiful photos of the finches. I saw finches in Galapagos but not as colorful as these ones. Depth of field on the first one is stunning. You captured these birds so well considering it so hard to do so in small birds.
