Lake Abijatta

Lake Abijatta is an alkaline lake in Ethiopia. It lies in the East African Rift Valley. During dry season the shore is behind a wide strip of dried natron mud. The atmosphere is a bit on the moon, but on the shore lives many flamingos and other waders. I was there for several hours, it is a fantastic place
