Micro rainbows

The surface of soap bubbles.

The surface of a soap bubble or a soap film can be something like an abstract picture with fascinating colors and structures. These photos are made with a film of dish soap in a key ring and in front of a black background. Each photo is a small image section with a size of about 5 mm.

  1. What a great artistic exercise. Amazing how the camera "finds" such great color in commonplace items. A friend does a similar photography with lemon/lime slices and a bubbly soda drink. Great effects. I especially enjoyed your photos that highlighted the fiery colors.

  2. These pictures were definitely photography as an art. Kudos to you for your wonderful creativity. The blend of color is delightful. It is hard to believe that these are photographs of images inside a little keyring, Maybe I will try it and see what I come up with. genie
