Gallium nitrate

Gallium nitrate or Ganite with the formula Ga(NO3)3 is a strange white or colorless salt. It is very hygroscopic and becomes fluid by high air moisture. Under the microscope and in polarized light it has high interference colors (an effect of light slowing down as it penetrates through different materials).
