Citric acid

Citric acid (C6H8O7 H2O) or 2-hydroxy-1,2,3-propanetricarboxylic acid, or another funny name 2-hydroxypropane-1,2,3-tricarboxylic acid. In the EU it has the number E 330. Under the microscope it is very colorful. The sample is crystalized in an aqueous solution.
