The Faberwald by Nuremberg

The Faberwald is park in the South of Nuremberg/Germany and a good birding place. As an old English landscape garden that is overgrown, it is a little bit like a jungle. Numerous old trees and dense bushes close to water provide excellent conditions for birds like Hawfinch, Long-tailed Tit and several species of wood peckers. It is a nice place for short excursions, close to a large city.

Eurasian Nuthatch (Sitta europaea)

Middle Spotted Woodpecker (Dendrocopos medius)

Not a bird, but Bambi's dad
